Beijing, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) Chinese scientists detected a new mutation of the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavius in a patient in the eastern city of Suzhou, while the country is fighting a strong surge of Covid-19 cases, local press reported on Monday.
