Alonso chaired a meeting at the Marta Abreu Central University of Las Villas to verify the contributions from that higher education center to the country’s economy and social impacts.
The meeting also analyzed compliance with parameters related to the quality of the educational teaching process, postgraduate training, and master’s and doctoral programs.
University Rector Osana Molerio highlighted the social impact of the center in research and finding solutions to problems of the economy and society.
She pointed out that the favorable results of the Science and Technology Interface Society stand out, with research projects that favor local institutions.
Moleiro also emphasized the achievements in postgraduate and undergraduate academic training, extracurricular activities, culture, sports, university extension, human resources management, communication, information and computerization.
