According to local sources quoted by Syria TV, the aim of the operation was to thoroughly search the houses and confiscate weapons allegedly abandoned by the former Syrian army.
They indicated that the Zionist military without any reported arrests, and their presence generated tension, fear and resentment among residents who demanded immediate action to stop these attacks.
The day before, an Israeli military force advanced towards the village of Al-Muallaqa and its surroundings, in the same province of Quneitra, where five military vehicles, including two tanks, entered the area.
The operation lasted approximately one hour before the forces withdrew to their positions inside the occupied Golan Heights.
These actions represent a significant escalation in the pace of Israeli violations in southern Syria.
Tel Aviv’s attacks against Syria have intensified following the fall of Bashar Al-Asad’s government last December. Its forces launched hundreds of raids against Syrian military sites with the aim of destroying them and preventing the reconstruction of their infrastructure.
This coincided with ground incursions into rural Damascus, Quneitra and Deraa, where they took control of the buffer zone and subsequently raided border areas.
