According to the source, the action was taken last night, shortly after Whittall questioned the killings of starving people in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli military.
Whittall yesterday condemned the murder of civilians in Gaza, stating that it constitutes a process to erase Palestinian life in that coastal enclave, home to more than two million people.
“What we are witnessing is a massacre. It is hunger used as a weapon. It is forced displacement. It is a death sentence for those simply seeking to survive,” the official stated.
More than 58,000 citizens have lost their lives in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, while the number of wounded exceeds 140,000 and the number of missing exceeds 11,000. jdt/arm/ro/ro
