Allende returns to Montevideo 10 years after her last visit. This time, she will host a meeting at the iconic Solis Theater, where she will hold a talk with Senator and literature professor Blanca Rodriguez.
The two will discuss the Chilean writer’s latest work, titled “My Name is Emilia del Valle.”
The meeting will mark the opening of the fair, which, as usual, will be held in a large tent set up on the esplanade of Montevideo’s City Hall and in the atrium of the City Hall.
Also in attendance will be writer and journalist Rosa Montero, winner of the National Prize for Spanish Literature; Ecuadorian Maria Fernanda Ampuero; Argentines Luciano Lamberti, Federico Falco, Cesar Gonzalez, Pablo Ramos, and Claudia Pineiro; and Chilean Cynthia Rimsky, among other authors.
