Foreign Ministers to meet in Moscow on the eve of Russian Arab summit

Moscow, Sep 11 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Affairs officials from the Arab countries and Russia will meet in Moscow on October 13, on the eve of the Russian-Arab summit, said today the Slavic country’s chancellor, Sergei Lavrov.

‘We are waiting in Moscow for the leaders of their countries on October 15 to participate in the first Russian-Arab summit, and two days before, on October 13, the preparatory meeting at the level of foreign ministers will be held, Lavrov said this Thursday to the press.

‘We will be pleased to see you in this activity, which is called to finalize the preparation of the final documents for the summit,’ he said at the opening of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council ministerial meeting.

The summit on October 15 is expected to be attended by representatives of the Arab countries of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the East African States members of the League of Arab States.
