The parties also discussed current national and regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East and Africa, and emphasized their shared commitment to developing a strategic partnership to strengthen international peace and build a just world order, the statement said. In addition, the Russian – Brazilian meeting addressed UN-related issues, including the outcomes of the high-level week of the 80th General Assembly.
The diplomats also reviewed preparations for the 30th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference and bilateral cooperation within the organization.
