Cuba’s image is highlighted in the official logo of the major event through colorful buildings alongside other emblematic landmarks, official sources explained.
According to the Cuban Embassy in Singapore, the agenda includes meetings with the president of NATAS and executives from Turkish Airlines.
Meetings are also planned with EU Holidays and the Latin American and Caribbean Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Authorities will seek to increase the number of travelers from the Asian market to Cuba.
The NATAS Tourism Fair holds two events annually and attracts nearly one hundred exhibitors.
This participation is part of the Cuban tourism sector’s strategy to open new source markets beyond the traditional Western routes. Ambassador Lisbet Quesada Luna and the representative of the Ministry of Tourism for Asia and Oceania, Elizabeth Vela Jaime, believe that the space provided at this event will allow attendees to discover the culture, beaches, and heritage of the Caribbean island.
