The diplomatic institution called for an immediate end to all sanctions and the US blockade against Cuba, while reiterating Beijing’s willingness to work with the international community in supporting the island.

Chinese Ambassador to Cuba, Hua Xin, recently denounced the impact of the US blockade and reaffirmed his country’s support in the face of the current intensification of this policy.
The diplomat underscored that Beijing will continue its support in defending Cuba’s sovereignty and national security, while further strengthening cooperation in key sectors such as energy and food.
He mentioned, among the ongoing projects, the synchronization of solar parks donated by China into the national grid, the implementation of solar energy systems in isolated homes and community centers, and the delivery of food aid, including the shipment of thousands of tons of rice.
