Cuban prominent figures awarded with the Jose Marti Society Seal

Holguin, Cuba, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) Four prominent figures from this Cuban province have been awarded on Friday with the 30th Anniversary Seal bestowed by the Jose Marti Cultural Society, in recognition of their contributions to the study and dissemination of the thought of the Cuban Apostle.

Maria Julia Guerra Avila, Xiomara Garzon Montes de Oca, Carolina Gutierrez, and Eliel Gomez Martinez received the award during a ceremony held at the Revolution Room of the La Periquera Provincial Museum.

With three decades of work, the institution maintains a strong presence in boosting Martí’s legacy through scientific conferences, workshops, and community projects that strengthen cultural identity throughout the country.

The awarding ceremony of this commemorative seal is part of the national celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Society, an organization dedicated to preserving Martí’s ethical values and teachings.
