The meeting was focused on business openings with Latin America and the Caribbean, and was attended by Thai Foreign Ministry officials, local authorities and more than 500 businessmen and representatives of major private sector unions, Cuban diplomat told Prensa Latina.

In addition to Cuba’s vaccine research and production breakthrough, Conde explained business possibilities in his country, prospects for economic reactivation in post-pandemic phase, and investment projects for Thai businessmen.

He asserted that exchanges in various areas, especially in the health field, may be favored by Cuba´s recent inclusion in the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
