After meeting with President Mario Abdo Benítez, Fernández said the government will manage economic resources amounting to US$30 million to purchase these 10 scanners.

Fernández also stated that Paraguay is managing as many as 100,000 containers annually, hence the importance of counting on such a high-tech scanners for greater control.
