This is reflected in a Plaza Publica poll, carried out by the Cadem consulting firm, which places Jadue with 20 percent of vote intentions, followed by Joaquin Lavin, from the right-wing Independent Democratic Union (UDI), with 16 points.

With a notable increase in the polls appears Senate President Yasna Provoste, from the Christian Democracy party, who is not among the candidates for the presidency, with 13 percent of vote intentions, while the former president of BancoEstado, Sebastian Sichel, has 11 percent.

The rest of the candidates remain far behind, with scores fluctuating between seven and one percent, according to the survey, which is carried out weekly and this time focused on the elections of constituents, councilmen, governors and mayors, on May 15 and 16.
