‘Our unrestricted solidarity with the Nicaraguan people and authorities, in the face of this new illegal and interfering attack from Washington,’ Arreaza live-tweeted.

Nicaraguan government on Wednesday condemned the US interference in its internal affairs, by implementing coercive, unilateral, illegal and arbitrary measures.

‘We vindicate National Dignity and Decorum, in legitimate defense of our Self-determination against the United States of America and any other Colonialist and Neocolonialist Entity, which at this point in life, believe they have the power to subdue and humiliate our Independence.’

The new violation of Nicaragua’s sovereignty confirms the complaints about ‘terrorist and usurping pretensions and actions, which have been increasing since the 2018 coup attempt.’
