Cuba decorates South African ambassador

Havana, Jun 18 (Prensa Latina) South African Ambassador to Cuba Thaninga Pandit Shope-Linney was decorated here on Friday with the Friendship Medal for her contribution to relations between both countries.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez presented the award to the diplomat, who thanked Cuban authorities for their support in the fulfillment of her duties.

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez highlighted the excellent ties between Cuba and South Africa, which the African ambassador has fostered.
