Lopez Obrador to give report on election victory’s anniversary

Mexico, Jun 29 (Prensa Latina) Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Thursday will give a quarterly report of his management, while the MORENA party will celebrate the third anniversary of its election victory, official sources informed on Tuesday.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic published on social media indicates that the ceremony for the reading of the report will be held in the Patio of Honor at the National Palace.

Since Lopez Obrador took office, he has given reports every three months, so this will be the tenth act to report on the direction of his Government.

Almost at the same time, MORENA’s leadership announced that it will celebrate with its staff the third anniversary of Lopez Obrador’s election victory on July 1, 2018, when he won the Presidency of the Republic and that party became the first political force in the Congress of the Union.

For the celebration called ‘Three years of the people’s victories,’ which will be held at the National Auditorium on Thursday, it is expected that governors, senators, federal legislators and mayors from different regions of the country participate.
