The Government of Nicaragua (?) cannot let go to the findings taking place more and more frequently in Canada, reflecting deep racism, and hidden and ‘mysterious’ practices of cultural dominance, which are aberrant, cruel, humiliating, inhuman and degrading, the communique states.

Over the last five weeks, some 1,100 remains of indigenous children have been found in unidentified graves on the grounds of an ancient school residence in west Canada.

Brutality, barbarism and savagery, which stripped indigenous peoples of their lives, heritage and cultures in Canada, are currently known and exposed, the note by the Nicaraguan Foreign Ministry warns.

Canada has been one of the countries in the hemisphere in which the intention to sanction Nicaragua for applying its current legislation against opponents investigated for alleged crimes of money laundering and injuries to the national sovereignty has led in meetings of the Organization of American States.
