‘They inspire us to advance in the construction of a prosperous and sovereign Homeland; (…) today is a day to reaffirm the commitment to guarantee that their smiles never disappear and that the center of our effort is directed to their happiness and well-being,’ the president said.

Venezuela celebrates Children’s Day every third Sunday of July, an initiative that seeks to encourage the protection of the rights of one of the most vulnerable sectors of society.
