Hernandez, aged 55 and multiple world record holder, will make the new attempt at the Havana Channel television studios.
The current record in such modality is 2,739 touches on the football and if he breaks it, it would be the third record he sets during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The previous records during his confinement were set in his own home. On May 17, 2020, he set a record of 188 touches with his head in 30 seconds, breaking by one the previous one already certified by the Guinness Book since 2011.
On July 19, 2020, he hit the football for an hour, five minutes and six seconds in a sitting position and with 1.5 kilograms strapped to each ankle.
This time, he will try to beat the record outside his home and in front of television cameras, as he did in September 2013, Jit reported.
Hernandez thanked Canal Habana and his family for their support for this new challenge.
