According to the institution that sponsored the analysis, the publication, which is considered one of the most respected in the world in that area, highlighted “the strong humoral and cellular immune response” of the Russian vaccine.

The article noted that most of the adverse events suffered by the participants in the study were rated as mild to moderate and no serious adverse reactions were reported.

The single-component Sputnik Light vaccine is effective when administered alone and when given as a booster injection, the RDIF said.

It also reported that more than 15 countries have already approved the drug for use and 30 others are in the process of registering it.
