Lebanon’s Hezbollah accuses US of crimes in the Middle East

Beirut, Jan 4 (Prensa Latina) Lebanon´s Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah accused the United States of committing crimes in the Middle East, after creating the Islamic State terrorist group, local media reported Tuesday.

In a speech on the eve of the second anniversary of the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in Iraq, Mr. Nasrallah recalled the US troops occupied Lebanon and committed massacres and violations of all kinds.

According to Lebanon´s Party of God leader, the United States created the radical armed groups to guarantee its military presence and, therefore, it is responsible for everything came afterwards, the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen reported.

“The United States is murderer and hypocrite, and its criminality has no parallel in history”, after extolling Soleimani, who supported the Iraqi people and Resistance against those murderous hordes.

Iran was on the sidelines till Iraq requested assistance to confront US-supported extremist group to further its own interests, he stressed.

Furthermore, he added, we hold the United States responsible for all crimes conducted by Israel in Palestine and Lebanon.

The wars, raids and massacres committed by Israel in the region, he pointed out, were backed up by Washington, “so how could the United States be seen as a friend?”.

“Who killed Syrians and plunged the neighboring country into a devastating war? Mr. Nasrallah said, noting that Al-Tanf’s base in Syria is a protectorate for terrorists to hold threats against Damascus.”
