Lebanese Hizbullah refutes accusations of terrorism

Hizbulah
Beirut, Jan 7 (Prensa Latina) The deputy secretary general of the Lebanese Hizbullah, Naim Qassem, refuted the Saudi King, Salman bin Abdulaziz, who described the self-styled Islamic Resistance as terrorist, highlighted today the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen.

In a speech on the occasion of the second anniversary of the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, the Lebanese leader considered the monarch’s description unfair.

“The Saudi king’s expression, he said, carries bad intentions, since he directs it at those who sacrificed their lives for Lebanon, the cause of Palestine and the dignity of the ummah (Islamic unity).”

Hizbulah (Party of God) supports the exploited, those who lack rights in a country (Yemen) that is suffering destruction by the hand of another Arab nation and an international tool that is trying to change the balance of power in the region, he stressed.

“We are the Resistance, he stressed, and we will defend our cause with facts and logic.”

Earlier, the head of the Party of God, Hassan Nasrallah, underlined, “We did not attack Saudi Arabia, but as a player in the war in the region, we were honored to fight the groups sent by them to Syria and Iraq.”
