On Twitter, MINREX reaffirmed Cuba’s willingness to continue expanding cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries.

Cuba and Norway established diplomatic relations on May 12, 1909, and officially opened the embassy in November 1961.

Since 1993, Norway has voted in favor of the Cuban resolution against the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for over 60 years.
