On X, formerly the Twitter, the head of government acknowledged the sacrifice, devotion and loyalty of the members of the Department, to whom he sent his most sincere congratulations and infinite gratitude.

Bruno Rodríguez also congratulated the department and admired its long history of “unconditional vocation of service to Cuba and steadfast loyalty to the leadership of the Revolution”.

The Department of Personal Security is one of the institutions that composes the Ministry of the Interior of Cuba, and its fundamental mission is the care and protection of the lives of the country’s leaders.
