DPRK newspaper calls U.S. as exporter of wars

Pyongyang, Dec 23 (Prensa Latina) North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun described the United States as exporter of wars, and also condemned that the foundation of its economy is the war industry, ACNC agency reported Saturday.

According to the official newspaper of the central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, quoted by ACNC, the real control of U.S. policy is not made by politicians of the Administration in the White House or Congress, but monopolists of the war industry.

Recently, the United States made public the so-called “additional military support package” to Ukraine which includes the supply of anti-aircraft defense systems, large caliber howitzers and other deadly armaments, worth USD$175 million.

The U.S. economy will be shaken to its core if the war industry is weakened, and even the political elite will be driven out if it causes dissatisfaction among monopolists of the military industry. This is the reality of the United States, according to the Rodong Sinmun newspaper.

The American politicians are focusing on their war policy to keep their power and do everything possible to open markets for the monopolies of the war industry.

Thus, Washington records good results every year in the production and sale of war materials, and the military companies do not go bankrupt despite the global economic crisis.

For the U.S., stigmatized as a war merchant, arms exports are one of the means to make financial profits and pursue an aggressive foreign policy, the DPRK daily notes.

Moreover, the American foreign policy serves as a domination and intervention instrument. As a result, the DPRK is intentionally and systematically aggravating the regional situation.

The United States talks about peace and stability, but it really pursues aggression, war, worsening of tensions and its arms exports are precisely what generates conflicts.
