The spokesman for the country’s highest political advisory body, Liu Jieyi, stressed that despite external and internal challenges, the economy shows remarkable resilience and has achieved its goals under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

In this context, the Conference committed to closely monitor the situation, provide analysis and recommendations for evidence-based decisions.

“Quarterly seminars and symposiums will be organized to dynamically analyze economic indicators and discuss key policies, aiming to stabilize market expectations and promote confidence in economic development,” the spokesman said.

In addition, the advisors will focus on discussing policies related to national development and popular concerns, as well as addressing outstanding challenges to the economy.

According to Liu, special research will be conducted on topics such as promoting the private economy and improving the resilience of supply chains, in order to provide relevant recommendations.

The spokesman highlighted the vibrant start of the Lunar New Year, with a significant increase in domestic tourism and consumer spending, reflecting the potential of domestic demand as a key driver of economic development.

Liu recalled that the organization is an important channel and a special consultative body for socialist consultative democracy.
