At a press conference held Thursday in Havana, organizers informed that 46 artists from over 20 countries will participate, including cartoonists, illustrators and other creators.
The event is dedicated to exploring the impact of globalization and the phenomena it implies from the point of view of political humor, and to denouncing the resurgence of fascism in today’s world.
Organized by the National Council of Plastic Arts and the Ministry of Culture, it will feature graphic exhibitions, talks, workshops and screenings in the capital’s movie theaters.
The program includes a collective exhibition on Fidel Castro, concerts, parties against neo-fascism, theatrical presentations and publishing proposals.
