DPRK denounces tripartite alliance as a hegemonic product of the US

Pyongyang, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) denounced the tripartite alliance of the United States, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) as a hegemonic product of Washington in the Asia-Pacific region, the ACNC agency said.

The aggressive military alliance, born out of the common interests and objectives of the three parties, is based on the U.S. relationship with Tokyo and Seoul, the Rodong Sinmun, the official organ of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, denounced.

Hence, the tripartite alliance can be mobilized at any time for a war of aggression at Washington’s request, the publication points out.

The strengthening of this alliance and the expansion of trilateral military exercises are leading to a contentious phase in the Asia-Pacific region. Above all, the Korean Peninsula is recognized as the area most at risk of war, warns Rodong Sinmun.

The White House is organizing war exercises together with the KC in the vicinity of the DPRK’s southern borders, the newspaper recalls.

The two states have set up a “nuclear advisory group” with a view to the use of nuclear weapons against Pyongyang, and Japan is also trying to join this mechanism, it notes.

The strategy of the tripartite military alliance is essentially based on the Pentagon’s theory of nuclear weapons omnipotence, which, in reality, introduces many nuclear weapons and means of delivery into the CR, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific region, the newspaper notes.

Moreover, US troops, armed with nuclear weapons, are ready to launch an operation at any time, the newspaper pointed out.
