Lourenço arrived in South Africa the day before, on a trip that has as its center the strengthening of relations and cooperation, according to the Angolan Foreign Minister, Tete António.
This Thursday the planned program is intense, as it includes official talks with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and the signing of at least five legal agreements, the Foreign Minister said.
The two leaders will also chair a business forum, which will be held under the theme South Africa and Angola: Working together to forge a new era of cooperation and partnerships to increase mutually beneficial trade and investment.
Lourenço will also pay tribute to Angolans and South Africans heroes.
On November 1, during the meeting of political consultations between the two countries, both sides called for accelerating the revision of obsolete instruments and introducing new agreements to boost cooperation, which should be in line with current trade and investment needs.
