The Dominican Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the good relations between the two countries will continue to strengthen in the years to come.
Cuba and the Dominican Republic have expressed the will to expand and deepen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
During the official visit of the Foreign Minister to that country in September 2023, both parties expressed interest in exploring new spheres of economic-commercial exchange.
The Dominican Republic is one of the main commercial partners of the largest of the Antilles in the Caribbean and the two nations maintain close bilateral ties in the area of cultural and academic exchanges.
Likewise, the Dominican Republic supports every year the resolution that Cuba presents to the UN General Assembly condemning the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
