According to the note published on Monday, the Russian delegation is expected to be headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, while the US side will be attended by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

It was also known that Rubio may be accompanied by US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and the US President’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.

Previously, it was reported that a US delegation headed by the president’s special envoy would travel to Saudi Arabia to discuss progress in resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

It has also become known that a delegation of the Ukrainian government has begun to actively prepare for the visit of President Vladimir Zelensky to Saudi Arabia.
