Most of the customers without power are in the north of the country, in Tarapacá, Arica and Parinacota and Atacama, although there are others affected in Antofagasta, Los Lagos and La Araucanía.
The SEC added that in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago there are around 2,000 homes without power, almost all of them in Maipú.
