The statement said that the dialogue was headed by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Riabkov, and by Brazilian Secretaries for Asia and the Pacific, Eduardo Paes, and for Latin America and the Caribbean, Figueiredo Padovan.
During the consultations, which took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere traditionally characteristic of Russian-Brazilian contacts, the state and prospects for development of bilateral cooperation in multiple spheres were substantially analyzed.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties also held a deep exchange of views on current issues on the regional and global agenda.
Also based on the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, “mutual willingness to further strengthen coordination of the approaches of both countries on the main multilateral platforms was confirmed.”
