In his account on the same social network, Diaz-Canel stated that the U.S. government’s measures attack Venezuela’s legitimate income.

He stressed that these are part of the imperialist crusade against those who do not submit to their interests and harm the Venezuelan people.

‘Our solidarity with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution and its president Nicolas Maduro,’ he affirmed.

Venezuela’s executive vice president, Delcy Rodriguez, on Wednesday described as harmful and inexplicable the US government’s decision to revoke the license granted by Joe Biden’s administration to the oil company Chevron.

By announcing sanctions against the U.S. company, pretending to harm the Venezuelan people, ‘ it is actually harming the United States, its population, and its companies’, said the high official.
