The head of the Protected Areas Security Office (BSAP) in the north, was surprised by his attackers on the SOS road, in the communal section of Haut du Cap.

According to the digital site Kominotek News, the victim was seriously wounded and they tried to take him to a hospital but he died during the transfer.

The circumstances surrounding this murder remain unclear, and authorities have so far offered no details on possible leads or suspects.

Several social actors demanded a thorough investigation and concrete measures to ensure the protection for public authorities and for the population, while advocating justice for Joseph’s death.
