On Wednesday, the director of the Institute of Lyrical Singing (Incanto), Laureano Ortega and the co-director of the Institute of Cultures of Peoples and Youth, Ramon Rodriguez, in a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of Belarus here, Vitali Barchuk, highlighted the potential of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged on the specific activities to be carried out this year within the framework of the agreement between the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus, the Ruben Dario National Theater and Incanto.
We also discussed the possibility of training courses for musicians, dancers, painters and other artistic expressions in which Belarus has a great development, said Ortega.
For his part, the Belarusian diplomat pointed out that the ties between Managua and Minsk should be based on relations in the field of culture and education of new generations.
We are going to prepare a cooperation plan at the level of the Ministries of Culture, we will try to make reciprocal visits as often as possible, for this we have all the conditions’, he said.
The director of the Rubén Darío National Theater, Ramón Rodriguez, thanked Barchuk for the support and expressed his joy for the initiatives discussed, which strengthen the cultural effort that the Sandinista Government carries out with the different institutions and cultural platforms of Nicaragua.
At the meeting, which took place in one of the halls of the Ruben Dario National Theater, a lyrical gala was announced to be organized in this institution on May 22, in salute to Nicaraguan mothers.
