Kirghizstan Prime Minister pays tribute to Ho Chi Minh

Hanoi, Mar 7 (Prensa Latina) Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Kyrgyz counterpart Adylbek Kasymaliev, who is on an official visit to the Indochinese country, today visited the memorial site to President Ho Chi Minh.

The Kyrgyz head of government laid a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, paying tribute to the great revolutionary leader of the Vietnamese nation.

On the occasion, Minh Chinh introduced the visitor to Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, where the supreme leader lived and worked for the last 15 years of his life (1954-1969).

He also shared details about the life and work of Uncle Ho, recognized as a National Liberation Hero and world cultural celebrity.

He emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh led a simple life, always close to the people and in harmony with nature; his home and workplace reflect this spirit, surrounded by trees and flowers, demonstrating his deep love for nature.

Vietnam follows a policy of protecting and developing the country based on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s thought and the nation’s rich historical and cultural tradition, emphasized the leader.

The aforementioned memorial site at the Presidential Palace is a special national monument and one of the most visited destinations in Vietnam.

Since 1970, it has welcomed more than 90 million visitors, including more than 15 million international tourists from over 165 countries and/or territories.
