Saba news agency informed that Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al Houthi, the current leader of the Houthi movement, assured on Wednesday that they will move towards a major escalation in their actions against Israel, only 24 hours after announcing the resumption of their attacks on Israeli targets in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea waters.
Al Houthi justified the new measures in the face of what he described as Israeli intransigence and brutality and condemned the aid that the current administration of US President Donald Trump provides for Tel Aviv.
Amid new measures by decree, the US government announced last week the Houthi movement’s designation as an international terrorist organization.
The Houthis have taken over large areas in central, northern, and southern Yemen, including Sana’a, the capital, since 2014 after taking up arms against the Government, an event that sparked a civil war that currently continues.
