Faces of Cuban Music Enhance Exhibition in Havana

Havana, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) Estudios 18, located in the Havana neighborhood of Miramar, will be enhanced from today until the end of April with the exhibition Faces of Cuban Music, a visual tribute to emblematic figures of the pentagram in Cuba.

There are around 30 pieces that recognize the legacy of great artists such as Juan Formell, Omara Portuondo, Leo Brouwer, Pedrito Calvo, Paulito FG, Adalberto Álvarez, César «Pupy» Pedroso, David Blanco, Zenaida Romeu, Jorgito Karamba and others, Lenay Barceló, Public Relations specialist of the Event Management Company 360 Producciones SRL, in charge of the initiative, told Prensa Latina.

She added that several authors have joined from various illustration techniques to honor those who have given life, soul and talent to the nation’s sound heritage.

A concert by the Karamba group will put the finishing touch to the inauguration of the exhibition, which is part of the program of activities that 360 Producciones SRL has deployed to honor the 61st anniversary of the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (Egrem).

Faces of Cuban Music has been presented in other spaces and from this Friday will adorn the halls of Estudios 18, for the delight of those who admire the most representative of our harmonic universe.
