In the politician’s opinion, US structures were previously involved in the same process, but now, “the Deep State has instructed exclusively Europe to continue the war in Ukraine.”

According to the Prime Minister, it’s the same with the funding of organizations involved in “anti-state processes” in Georgia, given that these entities are now financed solely with European Union (EU) funds.

Kobajidze emphasized that the Deep State uses the European bureaucracy for its purposes but Georgia has its national interests, which consist of “not allowing what happened in Ukraine to happen again.”

The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine is suffering destruction and enormous casualties, but enjoys good cooperation with Brussels. However, Georgia managed to avoid such a scenario and the opening of a second front of confrontation with Russia, which enraged the deep state, he concluded.
