The military institution reported that 49 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Kursk Oblast, seven over the Oryol region, seven over Ryazan, four over Bryansk, three over Vladimir, and one over the Tula region, in southern Moscow.
The Ministry did not specify the targets of the attacks, which it described as terrorist, and stressed that no casualties were reported, although several houses in the Bryansk region were set on fire after being hit by the wreckage of those drones.
The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Republic of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
