The world must intervene to break the unjust and deadly siege imposed on the Strip for months, which has turned the lives of more than two million people into an unbearable hell, the institution stressed in a statement.

The statement described the Israeli military offensive against the coastal enclave as genocide and went on to say that “Our people suffer from severe shortages of basic foodstuffs, lack of medicines, and vital supplies.”

The National Council held Benjamin Netanyahu’s government responsible for the massacres committed and destruction in the enclave.

The PNC also blamed the international community “for ignoring the catastrophe and ethnic cleansing that has been going on in the Gaza Strip for 18 months.”
