Transport and Logistics Minister Alemu Sime stated that the headquarters’ opening is an important step towards achieving our global vision, highlights Addis Ababa’s growing interest in aviation worldwide, and supports the overall aspiration of a connected and prosperous Africa.
Sime highlighted the growing national transport and logistics and the ongoing infrastructure modernization efforts, guided by the National Transport Council’s ten-year plan.
He underscored that it aims to boost sector efficiency, reduce commercial transport costs, and improve connectivity across the continent.
He added, “This new office emphasizes Boeing’s ongoing commitment to the African aviation industry and its dedication to fostering sustainable growth and innovation throughout the region.”
