The event, whose central theme is “New Frontiers in Surgery,” will allow the updating and exchanging of aspects related to diagnosis, surgical, and interventional treatment in various specialties.
The event’s venue, at the National Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, will feature scientific conferences on technological advances in General Surgery, Digestive Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, Otorhinolaryngology, Urology, Cosmetic Surgery, and Orthopedics.
The conclave, chaired by academics Giorgio de Toma from Italy and Rafael Torres from Cuba, will hold a new International Bioethics Symposium on the theme “The Relationship of Dignity at the End of Life between Patients, Families, and Healthcare Personnel.”
The occasion will allow bioethics experts, legal scholars, and specialists in the field from both countries to reflect on this current topic.
