He also conveyed the revolutionary greetings to the members of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the leadership of the Palestinian Authority, especially its chairman, Mahmoud Abbas.
“And with much affection to the heroic Palestinian people, to whom we are united by a long shared history of struggle for independence, self-determination and national sovereignty,” he said.
The head of the Nicaraguan diplomacy pointed out that they will continue to raise their voices and express their invariable support to the cause of the people of the Arab nation in their unwavering struggle for peace and the construction of a sovereign and independent state, free from foreign interference.
“Receive the fraternal embrace and our best wishes for success, health and well-being,” the letter concluded.

Managua, 26 abr (Prensa Latina) El Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Nicaragua, Valdrack Jaentschke, saludó hoy a Hussein Al-Sheikh por su nombramiento como vicepresidente de la Autoridad Nacional Palestina.
En nombre del Estado de Nicaragua, los Copresidentes Rosario Murillo y Daniel Ortega, el Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, el Pueblo y el Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, transmitimos a Usted (Hussein Al-Sheikh) nuestras más calurosas felicitaciones y nuestros mejores deseos de éxito, destacó el canciller en un comunicado.
Asimismo, trasladó el saludo revolucionario a los miembros de la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina (OLP), a la dirección de la Autoridad Palestina, en especial a su presidente, Mahmoud Abbas.
‘Y con mucho cariño al heroico pueblo palestino, a quien nos une una larga historia compartida de lucha por la independencia, la autodeterminación y la soberanía nacional’, manifestó.
El jefe de la diplomacia nicaragüense señaló que continuarán levantando la voz y expresando su invariable apoyo a la causa del pueblo de la nación árabe en su inclaudicable lucha por la paz y la construcción de un Estado soberano e independiente, libre de injerencias extranjeras.
