Created at the headquarters of the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF), formerly the French Institute, the exhibition reflects the reality lived by the Vietnamese people in the 1960s and 1970s, the Cuban vice president wrote on X.
The exhibition is part of the broad program of activities being held in the southern metropolis on the 50th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification, on April 30, 1975.
Valdes Mesa, who heads the Cuban delegation attending the commemoration, also highlighted in his X profile his meeting with Anh Xuan on Monday, in which they held “a deep exchange that assessed aspects of the state of bilateral relations.”
According to the VNA, the Vietnamese vice-president reiterated that Vietnam considers Cuba a key and reliable partner, regardless of all circumstances.
The Cuban vice president expressed his joy at visiting this nation, this time to participate in such a significant commemorative event for the Vietnamese people, and highlighted this nation’s achievements in the 50 years following the liberation and national reunification.
