To this end, the former Portuguese Prime Minister is meeting today with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, and will hold working meetings with the six partners of the Western Balkans starting tomorrow.
Improving bilateral cooperation is a top political priority for the EU and for me personally.
There is a clear momentum for enlargement, but this requires commitment and follow-up, Costa said in a statement.
The visit will officially start tomorrow in Serbia, where he will meet with President Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister Duro Macut and members of Parliament.
On the same day he will go to Sarajevo; on Wednesday he will arrive in Montenegro and later visit Kosovo.
On Thursday he will head to North Macedonia and in the afternoon he will make the last stop of his Western Balkans tour in Albania.
In all cases he will hold talks at the highest level, according to the schedule of visits released here.
