In a release praising the congratulatory message sent by President Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), on the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations, the monarch also acknowledged the willingness to expand cooperation in new areas of common interest.
In a letter addressed to Diaz-Canel, Prime Minister Hun Manet highlighted the anniversary as a testimony of the enduring ties of friendship and cooperation between our two nations, from strong interpersonal connections to meaningful partnerships in several sectors.
The head of Government remarked, “Be assured of Cambodia’s firm commitment to further strengthening collaboration with Cuba as we work together to achieve even greater prosperity and development for both countries in the comming years¨.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn agreed to describe the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations as a “testimony to the enduring friendship and mutual respect that our two nations have maintained over the decades.”
In a message addressed to her Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez, the head of Cambodian diplomacy considered this an opportune moment to reflect on the achievements resulting from the constant efforts and visionary leadership of our respective nations.
