It is important for the world to know that India has always supported peace; however, it will not tolerate any act of terrorism. The government is sending all-party delegations to different countries for this reason, Rijiju told reporters.
In response to criticism from Congress over the choice of delegation members, the minister pointed out that they will not represent their respective political parties, but will all represent their country.
A political dispute is currently raging over the process of nominating members for the all-party delegations, as the government ignored three of the four proposals suggested by Congress.
