Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto traveled to Hanoi in March to ratify that Budapest always attaches importance and wishes to strengthen ties with this nation, its leading partner in the Southeast Asia region.

Upon meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, both officials were pleased that bilateral trade maintains a positive growth rate, with an estimated value of around one billion dollars annually, despite the impact of global economic difficulties.
